Rise Learning offer MHFA training and support tools to help you build mental health literacy. Our Open Programme offers key MHFA Workshops across the year, with online and face to face options available.
The 2 Day MHFA course develops:
An in-depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing.
Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues.
Confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress.
Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening.
Knowledge to help someone recover their health by guiding them to further support – whether that’s self-help resources, through their employer, the NHS, or a mix.
Course includes 2 full days of training, comprehensive course materials and access to a range of ongoing learning, support and benefits included with membership of the Associate of MHFAiders.
MHFA Refresher Training: The 4 hour Adult MHFA Refresher course enables delegates who have attended 2 day or 1 Day Mental Health First Aid training to:
• Keep awareness of mental health supports current
• Update knowledge of mental health and what influences it
• Practice applying the Mental Health First Aid action plan
NEW! MHFA Supervisor Training: This half day workshop develops the confidence and skills of MHFA supervisors, including barriers and boundaries, supportive communication, balanced reflection and coaching skills. Contact us for more information.
